Product introduction
Summary
Diarrhetic Shellfish Poison (DSP) is a marine biotoxin toxin produced by the dinoflagellate Dinophysis, which is a type of naturally occurring microscopic algae. Shellfish eat these algae and can retain the toxin. People can become ill from eating shellfish contaminated with Diarrhetic Shellfish Poison. The detection of marin toxin residues such as DSP in seafood is of great concern for the aquaculture because of the potential interfering and adverse effects of marin toxin residues frequently found in seafood.
Intended Use
The Diarrhetic Shellfish Poison ELISA Test Kit is competitive ELISA for the quantitative analysis of DSP in samples of seafood.
