The 3rd China International Import Expo (CIIE) opened in Shanghai on November 4th 2020. As the world's first national-level exposition, the CIIE has built an important  bridge for enterprises to strengthen communications and promote cross-industry cooperation.

At the CIIE, Zhang Hui, secretary of the Rizhao Municipal Party Committee, participated in the "High-quality Cooperation and Development Dialogue between Shandong and Fortune 500 Industrial Chains" organized by the People's Government of Shandong Province and witnessed the signing of the capital increase agreement for the  second phase construction of Meizheng Biotechnology. (Shandong Meizheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in Rizhao High-tech Zone in March 2017. In the near  future, it will focus on R&D, mass production and sales of biological reagents and testing equipment, in order to strongly support Meizheng group business.)

PerkinElmer attended and brought cutting-edge products in the fields of diagnostics, life sciences and analytical chemistry at this CIIE. Zhang Hui and entourage visited  the PE booth, the parent company of Meizheng Group. After that, they visited PerkinElmer's China headquarter, toured around advanced application laboratories and learned PerkinElmer’s development in China in-depth.

During the visit, Zhang Hui discussed with PerkinElmer's APAC leaders and the president of Meizheng Group, especially around topics on Rizhao rapid food safety inspection system, tea leaf testing and oil-quality inspection. 

In October 2019, Meizheng Group officially joined PerkinElmer, continuing to strengthen business in China, while penetrating into international market to better serve global customers. Till now, Meizheng Group has more than 1,000 products, obtained more than 80 patents and software copyright certificates, and achieved innovations and breakthroughs in multiple testing projects. A number of brand series products, such as ToxinFast^®、HMFAST^®、AnticFast^®、MicroFast^® and MIPTest^® have been widely recognized.

After over 10 years’ accumulation and deployment, Meizheng Group has established 1 third-party testing service company, 5 first-level testing centers, 7 validation laboratories, 4 factories, and has established R&D laboratory in Beijing, Tianjin, Wuxi, Rizhao, and Qingdao. The nationwide service network coverage allows Meizheng to serve customers more efficiently, including pre-sales and after-sales technical supports, verification training and confirmation testing services, and to provide one-stop rapid testing solutions from the field to the table for food industry.
